Whoa. Life.

Ecuador: AMAZING. I miss my kids like whoa. Check out my blog for all my entries on that.

Now, at the UM Bio Station. Loving it but work is starting to pile up. It's exhausting, but worth it. Ecology can be overwhelming but our class/prof is awesome.  Algae is great and CRAZY thanks to Rex and Pat (profs) and Ted the TA.  And the fact that there are 7 of us, yay for small class sizes!! Love the people here. Wish I had come last year.
And all of us partying in the UV Field saturday night saw the most amazing meteor everrrrr. Soooo cool.

Need to: Study vocab for the GRE and pick out schools to apply for. And start applying.  Oh grad school. Hopefully one decent Public Health school somewhere in this country will want me.

I'm thinking of getting rid of this and moving over to blogging. Who even uses this anymore? It feels so highschool ish....Maybe in the fall I'll go through and read all my old entries, and laugh.

SUMMER 2008

Last final of the semester was last night. Woo hoo!

Ecuador so soon!

Wait. How is it summer again??

je ne connais pas tous les secrets de ton coeur, mais je viens quandmeme.

It's been a while.
First off, I feel like I've grown up so much. Yet I'm scared out of my mind.
Anyways, I'm RIDIC cold. My heater stopped working last night. And it's currently 3 degrees out. No Joke. That's like 29 below freezing.  There's a bit of heat eminating from the heater; ideally by morning the room will be okay.
I had my first hall drama issue- a pretty volatile roommate conflict. Hopefully it gets resolved soon, I've spent so long with our hall director already. Yay RAness, hahaha.
I want to lose 25 pounds. But my goal of 6 months is too unrealistic. Especially since it takes me forever and a year to lose anything. and I am pretty sure the cookies I ate today (mrs. fields, i tell ya..) probably made me gain back the 4 pounds I lost since school started again. At least I go to the gym somewhat regularly. And I started lifting again. It makes me so happy to feel semi-strong again. I need to start swimming too. I want to be in some buff-ish shape by summer.
I applied for the Quito Project (volunteer in Ecuador) and I just got an email saying they wanted to interview me. Yay! Too bad I haven't spoken in Spanish in 3 yeears....Eeeeek! Gotta practice before Saturday.
Classes are...meh. I feel bad that I'm just doing shit to get by...but....I don't really care that much. I have hard work to do, too. blah.  At least I have good friends
Oh yeah, I'm 20 years old. And I am graduating in December. and I want to get accepted to the Peace Corps like WHOA. You have no idea. I might be crushed if I don't get accepted. Lets hope the application process doesn't kill me....

everyone should go sky diving....

I went skydiving today. It was INCREDIBLE. I can't even describe it...jumping out at nearly 14,000 feet, basically feeling like i'm flying, floating in the air once the parachute was deployed, man, everyone needs to do it at least once...

3 months til I turn 20. big whoop.

I'm mostly dissapointed in how the semester is turning out.

I'm really struggling with the question: "Who am I?!" I really don't know....

Junior Year????

RA training- was long and exhausting, but overall super fun.
My hall- all the girls are sweet and nice, some more outgoing than others, but overall, a great group :)
Classes start tomorrow. Boo

Welcome week (the party aspect) was WAY overrated.
